Medicare doesn’t cover services provided by counsellors. You may be eligible for a rebate with your private health insurance.

Yes. I am a registered provider with Medibank Private, BUPA, HCF, AHM, Defence Health, and ARHG.
Because every policy is different, please check directly with your insurer to confirm your specific level of cover. After our session, you’ll receive an invoice with all the details you need to lodge your claim and get your money back.

Both individual and couples sessions are 50 minutes long.
I also offer longer couples therapy appointments for 90 minutes.

This will depend on your treatment goals and what you would like to get out of therapy. We will discuss this in our initial appointment and work out a plan to get where you would like to be.
For some, counselling is a short term endeavour whereas for other, counselling is a journey which can span across months or years.

I have limited after hours appointments from 5-6pm and some weekend appointments upon request.

The first session is all about getting to know you and gathering important information to understand what’s going on. It might feel like a lot of talking and not much “doing,” but this foundation helps me tailor the support that’s right for you. From there, we figure out a plan and a path to move towards.

I accept NDIS referrals that are plan managed or self-managed.
I also accept referrals through FAS Victims of Crime.
